There’s been a lot of hate in the erifef tag lately! That just won’t do. I believe a wise doctor once expressed my feelings on the subject the best:

Wisdom for the ages aside, I know my Feferi headcanons are fairly common (hell, some I helped establish,) but one thing I rarely see is adult Eridans built like Dualscar. Sorry fandom, I just can’t see someone who spends their life hunting with a laser rifle the size of their body, using only their clutched thighs to avoid the kickback growing up to be a twig.

Lilly made a compelling argument for me to draw tiny petstuck child Eridan (“draw me more hissball ;;”) so here we are.

Quick little drawings, trying to get back into the habit of keeping loose while I draw. And, y’know. Actually drawing again.

I started work on a set of humanstuck trollkid headshots, with the idea of basing backgrounds and ethnicity on world population percentages more than anything. All I found out was that trying to draw a set of 12 anything takes more effort than I’m willing to put in and I still don’t know how to draw cartoony Asian people. Sorry, Terezi.

HEY LOOK the finalized Ace of Wands card! For comparison’s sake, the very first version (completed around October-ish last year,) and the first revision (finished early January last year.) With this third version, that makes a year total in improvement.

I’m really happy with how far I’ve come, honestly.

LATE 2 THA PARTY but hey, here’s my tarot cards (and back) for the HS Kickstarter Seerpack! With the default text instead of proper titles because I’m a lazy piece of shit!! Aw yeah!!! Seriously though, being part of the card projects has been an absolutely massive honor and complete blast, easily some of the most fun illustration and design that I’ve ever done in my life. I learned an incredible amount while working on this project. I know there have been requests to view the box art, but I’ll have to double-check to see if I can share those, since it wasn’t included in the preview!

I’ve recently realized, and come to terms with, the fact that I’ve been coasting on talent for far too long and my concrete skills are sorely lacking. Uploading things helps keep me motivated. Nepeta has kind of become my subject du jour, mostly because she’s playful and I imagine her being fairly fit, which helps when I’m focusing on things like muscle groups and perspective. Between this and Tuesday’s Nepeta drawing, I think I’m going in the right direction!

I want to paint this sketch, but I feel like I’ve drawn myself into a corner - I have a bad habit of not thinking about backgrounds and the like, especially not backgrounds in any sort of top-down perspective, so I feel kind of lost? We’ll see what happens.
